Vision Crew Unlimited officially closed its doors at the end of April 2002.

While the difficult business climate the entertainment industry as a whole has been experiencing was certainly a factor, it was not the deciding one. Vision Crew's founders were interested in pursuing other interests and opportunities and running a company full time prohibited us from doing so.

We are all very proud of the vast body of work we amassed while at Vision Crew. And we must salute all the talented crew people who worked with us behind the scenes to meet the extraordinary schedule and budgetary constraints we often faced. The reputation for consistent quality we built over the years is due, in no small part, to their hard work and skill.

We would also like to acknowledge our terrific clients, without whom we could not have survived all these years. We've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most talented people in the entertainment industry. Being these people's 'first call' was an honor.

We formed Vision Crew Unlimited with the goal of creating a place where creative, talented people - crew and clients alike - could collaborate artistically in an open, supportive environment. A place where the "Vision", be it a commercial, TV show or feature, served as the catalyst for the technical problem solving instead of allowing a 'technology for technology's sake' mentality to drive the work. A place where an entrepreneurial spirit replaced the inter-departmental 'tug of war' and politics we'd found at larger shops -- put simply, where the "Crew" could work together as a team to solve problems creatively. And, as the "Unlimited" in our name implied, a place where the 'impossible' was often possible.

In the final analysis, we believe we succeeded on all counts.
